Wedding Events

Will there be a welcome party or other pre-wedding events?

Yes! We’re having a welcome party on the Rooftop Terrace at the Marquis Los Cabos from 5:00–7:00 PM. It’s casual but nice—no need for suits, just wear something fun and colorful (avoid black or white if you can!). We’ll have cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar to kick things off. Then at 7:00 PM, anyone who wants to keep the party going can join us for the resort’s Mexican Fiesta Night. There’s a taco bar, open bar, live music, and performances. We’ve reserved seven tables for our group, but they’ll be released at 7:10 PM, so try to be there right on time if you’re planning to go. Totally optional, so no pressure either way!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We recommend arriving by 4:10 PM to give yourself plenty of time to find your seat and get settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM.

Will there be professional photography or videography at the wedding?

Yes, there will be professional photography and videography throughout the wedding day. That said, feel free to take your own photos and videos anytime—just kindly refrain during the key moments of the ceremony. Once we say “I do,” you’re welcome to pull out your phone and capture all the memories you’d like! We’ll also be sharing a link to a shared album where everyone can upload and access photos and videos from the weekend—stay tuned!

Can I share photos from the wedding on social media?

We’d love for you to share your photos! Please tag us so we can see all the wonderful moments you capture. @thehegedus & @gabbismith
